DOWNTEAM
challenge 2010 - competitions
Welcome once again to
Åre, and the DOWNTEAM challenge. This year we hold the
Swedish Championships as well as the Open Nordic Championships.
Freestyle RUN - acro paragliding SOLO
One or two of the first runs of DOWNTEAM challenge will be judged with
different rules. The judges will give points for flying and landing.
No technical or choreografy details. Only overall flying points and
overall landingpoints.

Norwegian Cup - acro paragliding SOLO
The following runs after the Freestyle runs will be valid as Norwegian
Cup runs judged in normal FAI matter. It will also give the pilots
points in the world ranking as it's a FAI cat2 event listed in the
official FAI calendar.

Swedish
Championships - acro paragliding SOLO
The Swedish Championships (only for swedish pilots). We will use the
same results as from the DOWNTEAM challenge, but make a list with only
swedish pilots to find the Swedish champion.

Video competition
The videocompetition is actually two videocompetitions.
- Best
acro
paragliding video - Make a paragliding video of maximum 4 minutes. The video can
contain material filmed from different locations as long as it got
minimum 20sekunds from Åre.
Open for all
pilots, judges and volontaers.
Must be finished and ready for viewing saterday afternoon.
- Best
sponsorvideo - Same as last year. Make a commercial video for
products from one or some of our sponsors. Maximum 2 minutes.

Precision landing
A special precision landing competition where the pilot collect points
based on the difficulty of the mark he/she lands on or in.
