From Voss:
There is now big airport in Voss. The closest is in Bergen
(Flesland), 1,5 hour drive (or train) from Voss.
There is no
airport in Åre either, and the closest one is Østersund, 1 hour
drive (or train) from Åre. But normally it is much cheaper to go
to Trondheim airport in Norway, 1,5 hour drive (or train) from
Åre. Make sure you have transportation from Trondheim to Åre.
There is a train called
"nabotoget"
that travel twice a day.
Therefor we
recomend you to take the train to Bergen airport-Flesland, and buy
a ticket to Trondheim airport-Værnes.
Still, check the price to travel to Østersund in Sweden as well.
Sometimes it's just as cheap, and you do not risk to get stuck one
day in Trondheim;)
