Where to stay

Well, you are in Åre, and now you need a place to stay. Normally this is not a problem during summertime, but we would recomend you to book something in advance.

Gula Villan. First we can recomend Gula Villan owned by the paragliding school Skysport if you are under a tight budjet. The yellow house (gula villan) is just beside the official club PG/HG landing, and approx 500m from the competition area.
Their web site is in Swedish, but they speak and read English very well. Gula VIllan is a big yellow house with 14 beds. It is also possible to camp outside and use showers and toilet inside for less than half the price.

Holiday Club. If a 500 meter walk is to much for you in the morning, you can also stay at Holiday Club. Closer to the competition area is impossible. Holiday Club is the competition area. This is the most comfortable hotel in Åre. Of course the rooms are very good, but the best part is all the indoor activities: Golf, minigolf, bowling, swimming, spa, resturants, bars, waterland and saunas. Other places to live. If all this fails, go to visitare.se and you will for sure find a place to stay. On the right side of the page you can choose between: Cabins, camping, flats, hotels, youth hostels and more.
